About Sinners, Saints, and Satellites

I wrote and recorded 'Sinners, Saints, and Satellites' while living in Norfolk, VA from 2006 through early 2008. Unlike 'Whiskey, You're the Devil,' I recorded the majority of this album in my own apartment, using an AKG Perception 100 microphone, Yamaha MOTIF ES8, and acoustic guitar and a fiddle. The artwork was done by the talented Cherie Escario. The songs are the result of my personal observations of others' life experiences, as well as my own, and my attempt to understand, however well, humankind's relationships to one another and the Divine. Hence, I named it 'Sinners, Saints, and Satellites' because I felt that the subject matter hit so close to home on the critical relevance hope and faith have in a world where it sometimes seems as though there are none.
